Before you order
Do I need Wi-Fi or an internet connection?
No. The app talks to the sign over Bluetooth, so it works anywhere you have power. You only need the internet once, to download the free app.
Can I use it outside?
The sign is rated IP65 by the manufacturer. Most stores mount it on the inside of the window facing out, which keeps the power cable indoors and the sign clean.
Which size should I buy?
Measure the glass you want to cover. 35″ fits a single door or the space behind a register, 52″ fits a standard shop window and 70″ is for wide frontages. The window-width tool above gives a quick answer.
Is it certified?
The sign carries FCC ID 2BC4C-HRP-1696 for its Bluetooth radio, plus CE-RED and UKCA test verifications. The remote’s coin-cell battery compartment passed the ANSI/UL 4200A safety test required for US sale. The sign itself is not a UL-listed product.
Can I run it from a power bank?
Yes. Any 5 V USB source works: the included wall adapter, a power bank, a car USB port or a laptop. Avoid USB ports rated below 2 A (35″) or 4 A (52″ and 70″), such as TV and computer ports, or the sign may dim.
Can it show my language and emoji?
Yes. The app supports text in any language plus emoji, pixel art, animations, a clock and countdown, and music-reactive effects. You can also schedule a list of messages.
Can I run more than one sign?
Yes. Control several signs from the same app to cover a wide frontage or put a sign on every window.
How much power does it use?
About 10 W, roughly the same as one LED light bulb. It runs from a 5 V USB source.
How fast do you ship, and what does shipping cost?
We ship within the US only, from Elmhurst, Illinois, in 1 to 3 business days. Standard shipping is free on every sign, and Express shipping is $15.
What is your return policy?
You can return a sign within 30 days. If it arrives damaged, defective or wrong, we pay return shipping. Change-of-mind returns must be unused, and you pay return shipping. See the full refund policy.
What does the warranty cover?
Every sign has a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, handled by our team in Illinois. It does not cover physical damage, water damage beyond IP65 or use with a non-original power supply.
Can the sign turn itself off after we close?
Yes. The included remote has 2, 4 and 8-hour shut-off timers, so the sign switches off on its own. The USB cable also has an inline on/off switch.
What comes in the box?
The sign, a US wall adapter, a USB cable with an inline on/off switch, an IR remote, double-sided mounting tape and a user manual with the app QR code.
